I have several whitetail capes that the ears are freezer burnt and I am have been injecting warm water into them to try to get them split! is there anything else out there that will help with this process? I have been reading about stop-rot from whitetail specielties does it really work?

I use a big 30ml syringe and pump several volumes of water in..then gently squeeze force the water to the edges...I also add vinegar to the water, seems to loosen em up a bit quicker..

As for the product, I heard it mentioned but have never used it..
