i've skinned a squrriel and turned lips and ears etc. then rubbed with borax. can i let the skin dry and rehydrate, and mount later,or does it need to be frooze ,till mounting. thanks tim

If you want to do this you need to tan the skin. If you dry preserve it needs to be mounted as soon as you rub the preservative on it. I suppose you can try to freeze it and mount later.
