Pull them out and put them in about 20 gallons of warm (95-ish degrees) tap water with maybe 2 tbsp of Tide or other laundry detergent added. Also maybe 1 tbsp of Bacteriacide.
Let soak 2 hours.
Stir frequently, at least once every 20 min.
They can go in, hair-out or hair-in, your choice.
They should be just fine.
I've done this to over 500 skins just this week alone.

Use a relaxer in the pickle.

I like to rehydrate before the pickle but it is nice to have a bottle of Atesan LPW from Van Dykes it works in the pickle for that one you forgot about... I would be verry weary of using any kind of soap to relax hides with as it can have a bad reaction with the acid in your pickle. (most soaps have a ph of like 9-10) have a good one! joe

Thanks

I would like to thank all the people that take the time to respond to all the smart and stupid questions on the forum, but it is hard to read some of the responses that bash the questions the beginners have to ask.I think before we answer a stupid question (stupid because you know the answer)we should stop and think of all the not so bright questions you have asked through life. After all, a wise man once told me there is no such thing as a stupid question. This forum has saved you and I alot of time, money and headaches so let the stupid questions keep comming I promise you that someone is learning from a smart response.Key to life is never stop learning and then share all you have learned.Just a thought.Thank you for your time! MIKE
