Just wondering if anyone uses stop rot in there rehydration brine eather on a salted cape or a dried tanned cape.I thought about trying it I searched the archives but didn't find anything specific on that particular subject.Or I thought about using Rittels pardon me if I get it wrong but I think its called "ever soft" I would greatly apreciate your thoughts on trying this. Thanks alot Jason

I just mixed up a 25 gallon batch of brine solution to rehydrate 2 Gemsbok capes and a lifesize javelina. I poured about 3 cups of Stop Rot into the solution as the javelina is on the verge of a big slipage problem. I can't tell you the results until everything rehydrates, but it certainly can't hurt anything to try it.

The stop rot in the rehydration process was great on a questionable cape.
