Hey yall my next question to you guys is someone said in answer to my previous question about STOP-ROT is that you have to re freeze it after thawing it out ? Or can I go salt it and dry it directly afterlike 15 minutes of applying it at room temperature. The only reason Im using stop in rot is cause I thawed it once before and I want to kill bacteria if there is any on it.

in regards to your questions, NO you do not have to freeze a skin again after application, and you might want to go as much as an hour before putting a skin under salt.

It's pretty easy to get "the hang" of STOP-ROT use. You'll see that once you actually start using it.

So you you really don't have to re freeze

I LIKE to freeze the hides after using the stop-rot! But it is not required. Joe
