Not 60 days

I sent a back bear and 5 deer capes off for 60 day tanning service. It's now been 75 since the code in date at the tannery and their acknowledgement. I received in the mail. I called, they say they are 3 weeks behind. Should I expect a discount? I paid for 60 day service not 90 day. What is customary in these circumstances?

I would expect a discount! And I wouldn't take no for an answer..

If you paid extra for 60 day service, and you didn't get what you paid for...well, ask for the regular rate. Are you saying that the tannery is charging you for something you didn't get?

On the other hand, if you aren't being charged extra and you just got a longer wait than you expected, then you can ask for the tannery to ship your skins back or just wait like the rest of their customers are probably having to do.

Another plug for these guys. Their delivery time was faster than most. I believe most items I've had them tan were back in around 65 days. There was no extra cost for that. That was just the normal turnaround.
