I am back yes I was gone and now I have a question

Hi I dought any one noticed but I have not posted anything for three weeks because i have bein gone to georga alabama north and south caralina and now back to florida I have to say on my trip I went to alot of basspro shops and boy they have some realy good and some realy realy bad mounts. and I saw alot of taxidermy shops maybe I saw one of you guys shops. ok the reason I am posting is becuase when I got home tonight I found out that my sisters dog took a domp on my moms cow hide rug and it is preaty nasty can I take it out side and rinse it off or would that heart what should I do.

Stanley,shoot the dog ,skin him out and make a rug out of him.I personally wouldn' think it would hurt the hide,but I don't know what kind of shape the hides in,if its in pretty good shape,then I would say go ahead and clean it,if not throw out the cow hide and resort to option one.


Pressure wash

it. It should be a chrome tan. If the floor side has a blue tint then it is chrome tanned and washing won't hurt it. We pressure wash ours probably every month or so. Should be OK.


try a spot cleaner.
