Hello,
Just wondering if anyone has the new Dakota pro fleshing machine from Van Dykes, and how they compare to the Eager Beaver machines.
Thanks,
Jim

BUT from close observation, that machine has to be one of the finest ever marketed and certainly head and shoulders above the old Dakota line Van Dykes carried. This machine has all the bells and whistles and is made of solid steel and stainless with micro-adjustments. I've never been sold on the Van Dykes round knife blade, but the machine is an exceptional piece of work.

Great machine

I bought one at the Virginia Convention in March. As George said, it is a quality machine, easy guard adjustment, quiet, worth every penny. I could never shave the face without butchering it until I got this machine. I use cut resistent gloves and press the skin against the wheel with my finger and only use a scapel around the eyes and nose pad. A real time saver for me.
