sharpening fleshing machine blades

What is the best way to sharpen the blades? is there a stone? I have used the sharpener for fleshing machine blades but they don't seem to sharpen them very well. any suggestions Thanks, DeLoy.

I use sand paper glued to a popsicle stick.

I use 400 grit wet or dry, and lightly stroke the edge, then tune with the steels.

you acually know how to use them . Get Bruce Rittel's video on fleshing and you will learn some things you did not know today .

Call Bill from Rawhide ,he has the best sharpening steels , I've seen
( NOT PIANO WIRE )

Send your blades to him as well , he is very good at it. And he also sells some of the best blades yet. His blades , then Quebec fleshing blades.
