I am looking for some advice, concerning Elephant head fleshing.
I am waiting to receive Elephant's head for neck mount.
What is the best way to flash the trunk?
It has so much and deep crossed wrinkles.
Thanks for any inputs.

Shaving machine

You should be able to shave it all, except for the last 18 inches or so. The end of the trunk gets a little thin.

I hope it is possible

I am just wondering if there is some tricks for this shaving the trunk.
I was in Namibia and skinned the Elephant cape myself/with few native skinners, of course/. I was impressed by the size and weight. The raw skin was so heavy that for six people was very difficult to move it to the salting place 60 feet away. The main problem I think should be to shave the trunk, because of the deep wrinkles. The trunk's skin looks like some crossword puzzle. No way to use the shaving machine to the skin.
Thanks for any advices and best wishes,
