I just obtained a frest fox tail. Fox had been hit by a car and I brought it home. It was dead, so I took a cleaver and cut off the tail (tail is really the only part I want to keep. I rinsed the tail off with water, dryed it, and I am cureing the end of the tail with salt. Is this all I need to do? How long should I keep treating the end with the salt? How will I know when it's done? I am sorry, but I have no experience in this. It is a very nice tail, and I'd like to keep it. Have tried to make sure and get all the blood out. Need some advice. Is there anything else I need to do? Please e-mail me at angeliasevert@bellsout.net with any advice! Thanks!
