I have a couple of big steer hides that need to be tanned for flat rugs. I have used my usual tannery for similar items in the past, but they are not pliable enough for me when they return. I saw some cow hides that were tanned in Argentina a while back and they were super thin and pliable...absolutely beautiful.
Any recommendations on a suitable tannery for these steer hides? Thanks-

Don't know where you are located, but Mid-Kansas Tannery in Dodge City, Ks. does a nice job on heavy hides. Talk to Art at 620-225-4120.
