Raw cape

Can you wash the blood from a raw cape or will this cause problems later. Thank you in advance

better off salt drying, moisture can cause bacteria. wash the blood out later

I have washed the blood out of capes...

prior to salting using "cold" water and Kemal 4. After rinsing squeeze out as much water as possible when they are hanging, then towel dry (place on a couple of towels and fold the cape up in them and roll and squeeze as you go) and tumble them in hardwood sawdust for ten minutes. Salt and drain as you normally would.

throw in krowtann AS IS and then when i am rinsing i suds that baby up and then rinse (ala george) in fabric softener
