Question for Bruce Rittel please. Your web page describes EZ-100 as being washable, what washing temperature will the leather withstand?

The magic number is 160 degrees Fahrenhiet. That's way higher than most other tannages, except for Chrome, Vegetable or retans. Since most Hot Water Heaters are usually set for the 110-120 degree range - washing a skin tanned with EZ-100 is safe even in a Washing Machine.
I once washed a EZ-100 tanned Sheepskin 7 times in our washer. Obviously over a period of time - but each time it dried soft and no loss of the tan. No clear hard spots.
