I don't know the first thing about leather(obviously) but was wondering how do you go about sourcing rattlesnake skin for auto upholstery. Is there a tannery for this specific product? Also can this product be dyed a specific color?Any help/ideas will be much appreciated.

I don't think Rattlesnake skin would be a very wise choice for upholstery leather. It isnt strong enough to withstand the stress and wearing that upholstery leather is subject to. In fact - even for belts, wallets and hatbands - it's wise to always back it with stronger leather.
