coyote smell

I just tanned my first coyote and it's completly done, but there's still a smell to it. What are some methods to get rid of the smell?

Some febreeze and time is about the only way...

you can get odorban at sams it works well but even it will not completly remove the smell

after tanning in fabric softener (george's idea) and they come out smeeling sickening sweet (but dont stink)
