Muratic acid or hydrocloric acid is a very poor choice for taxidermy use!

HCL or hydrocloric acid is great to neutralize your pool, or perhaps clean your patio concrete. But even then its pretty aggressive if not used properly often doing damage to the concrete. Over the counter chemicals can get you into trouble very quickly if you don't know what your doing! Go to one of the distributors and purchase the correct product for the job they've figured it out for you. Until you get your feet safely on the ground safely with chemicals its better safe than sorry!
