I wanted an experts opinion on how long can skins or capes remain in a pickling solution with saftee acid, salt and water, ph of 1.5. I have heard up to two weeks can the remain longer ? Or am I at risk for some kind of problems ?

I have left items in the pickle for up to six months with no bad effects. Just keep checking the ph and salt content.
