pickle without salting

My son was helping me tonight, flesh a cap and put in the saftee acid wihout salting.he's use to using krowtan.But i changed to saftee acid what can i do. Thank you

just seems to make it swell better and easier shaving . I have done it without salting and it does work just not as easy to shave

using satey acid - its a pain and not needed - the only time i use safety acid is hwen i use lutanf - otherwise i use krowtann
use alum in yout pickeling if your not salting the skin
