I made three attempts yesterday to answer your questions on STOP-ROT. Replies to sender, and a direct mail did not go through your securities. I'll answer here, and if you don't mind sharing the info, why don't you let the rest of the gang know what you're getting ready to work on. You have to remember that a lot of the stuff we all do and take for granted is absolutely new information for someone else.

To answer your questions:
I know there has been some people using nothing but STOP-ROT on velvet
antlers, but I really don't know what they looked like when done. I can only go by what they tell me. Even then it should work as long as the velvet isn't real pulpy and blood filled.

The AEWS crew is familiar with STOP-ROT, but I do not know as to what extent they have used it in conjunction with their freeze drying.

I don't think I would use the wrap over the antlers though, but there again, I've got a piece of meat that I treated with STOP-ROT three years or so ago that I keep in a plastic bag on my work bench, and the darn thing still looks the same as it did after treatment.

Keep me posted on how all of this one turns out! We still don't know what all kinds of tricks can be done with STOP-ROT.
Glen

I suspected my email still wasn't working right. I'll let you know how things progress with the project. Thanks again, Gene
