I was wondering if anybody could tell me a good brine, and pickle solution? Ingredients, time in, procedures etc...

Buy some saftee acid and read the directions!
Add 1 pound of salt per gallon and enough acid to eat your fingers off(or lower it to a pH of 2 or below) whatever works. Leave in for 72 hours and thin and flesh a bit any time after the first day, Then neutralize for about 20-25 min. in a bath of 2oz of borax per gal. of water. Peace~Sam
don't you mear to neutralize with baking soda, and not borax?
