Well my first hide is being oiled right now its just gone through the ez100 system worked great so far. I do have a question though. I relize when you brain tain you smoke the hide to coat and waterproof it and with the EZ 100 the proplus oil does that for you, but will smoking a ez 100 hide hurt it? The reason i ask is i love the look and smell of smoked hides and would like to lightly smoke this hide, no heat and didn't know if it would hurt. Thanks for all the help guys.

He's right - it shouldnt hurt it at all! Since it's only the smoke (creasote) it isnt as if you were flash burning it! It should give it a nice color.
Alright then thanks alot and good luck with the christmas rush Bruce. I will be placing a new order soon, i can't belive how good that possom hide turned out it was my first tanning job, and thanks to everyone on here for the help.
