Freezing capes, HELP!

I was recently given a deer cape for mounting but I do not have the time to do anything with it right now. I already split the lips, ears, nose, and eyes and removed alot of the meaty flesh. I also had it salted for one day and I plan on salting for one more. My question is after the second salting could I freeze it until I have a chance to flesh it on a beam and do the pickeling stage?

If you are going to salt the cape, then salt it until all moisture is gone and it is dry, then you don't have to freeze, salted capes don't freeze well anyway

it be and let it dry. Salt will not freeze and will result in slippage 9 times out of ten.
