could someone please tell me the difference when they say wet or dry tanned
Return to Tanning Category Menu
When tanning is done, the cape is wet. If you take the wet cape, lay it out or hang it up to dry, you can store it easier than a wet cape because you would have to keep it frozen till you are ready to use it. When it is dry, you can throw it in a box and ship it as slow as you want for a cheaper price because it is lighter when dry. You then take the dry cape, rehydrate it and mount it. Now you know, so it is you're turn to tell the next guy in two days that asks the same question.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and then click on 2001 -SEP. Scroll down to 9/6/01 and read "Wet tan, dry tan, dry preservative". It's all in there.
