Have a coyote head mount I did about a year ago it was liqua tanned.according to the fact sheet it says the tan can not be washed out,with that being said could I just submerg the head in a bucket of water till it softined up then strip and re mount.

Can be done, but be prepared to work your nuts off if you used Epo-Grip hide paste


not sure on the glue

used AAA supply super hide paste,container doesn't say to much,looks and smells like a heavier/thicker version of every day white glue.

set up your resoak like you would a rehydration bath,(salt and bactericide) do not over soak just enough to make the hide pliable enough to work off the form. If a hide is tanned properly it should not "wash" out. Why does it need to be remounted after only a year? Marc R

Not happy with the muzzle,I guess I could just soak the muzzle,untuck then retuck the lips and fix up the nose. Thanks
