But where can I but a set of plans to build a tumbler.
i have a Van Dykes tumbler that is 30 galloon but I need a big one to tumble african skins in can some one help me...

How,why are you "tumbling" African skins in a 30 gallon drum? Is there some purpose there?
Now, the paddles. I made my own. I bought 5/4 decking boards and cut them the length that would set inside the barrel. I cut off a small piece of 2/4 and got a Sharpie pen. I laid the barrel on my work table, set the 5/4 board inside and held it perpendicular to the barrel wall. I set the Sharpie pen on the 2x4. Then I slide the 2x4 the length of the "paddle". The Sharpie drew a perfect contour of the barrell shape.
Then I cut the line on all three boards. Then I drew a rough parallel line about 3 inches thick and cut it out. I kept the convex edge intact, but I took a router with a 1/2 inch roundover bit and routed all the other edges so they wouldn't snag anything.
To install them, I drilled the wall of the drum. I used countersunk holes and tapered head screws to screw them directly in. Once I had all three (BTW, you determine thirds by wrapping a string around the barrel. Fold the string in thirds by folding it together. Drill one hole, and then determine the 1/3 distance based on the string and drill another, and then another. Once you have the boards "tacked" in place, then you straighten them out to the barrel.) Then I removed all three. I ran a HEAVY bead of bathtub silicone RTV down the flat side of each paddle and reinstalled them. This one's been working for about 20 years now with no problems.
Im not using the 30 gallon drum on african skins I need to build a large tumbler to tumble all my large skins .
I have a client that is going to africa and I also need it for large north american skins.
