I have an albino groundhog that i am getting ready to work on and it is pretty bloodsoaked, should i wash the hide before or after i tan it? I am goimg to be using an auto tanner to tan with. Has any body tanned something like this in an auto tanner, and what kind of ratio of crystals to water did you use? Do you also use a little degreaser with this perticular hide?

Chuck,you better wash it before you run it through your tanning process or else some of the blood will probably set.
thats how long its been in the freezer, do you think it will be set in or do you think it will come out? ty
