Hi I am building a 6 or eight foot tumbler.Would like to know how many baffels it should have and how wide they sould be.I thought of three or four for a six foot diameter and the same for an eight foot.Not sure if they should be a foot wide.Any help would be great Thanks john

john...i think any size baffels would sufice. i even have a drum with no baffels. but i like to use a kicker, [an old shoe, or baseball catchers mitt etc.] to really throw the hides around. this also breaks up any pattern that would tie your pelts up in knots etc.
