New Chemical

Submitted by Chris on 12/26/05 at 5:25 PM. ( )

I Have a couple of coyote hides and racoon hides that I would like to have tanned but don't have the money I'm in college. I have heard that there is a new chemical that you just flesh the hide and smear the chemical on the hide. Is this true if so what do I need to do with it and how do I get the formula Thank you

Chris,I don't know if this was what you were referring too,but it is not a tan .It will let the hide dry up without rotting, but it will not be soft.Go to the orange button to the left of the screen and you can do a little research on tanning or using instant preserve ,you might find the answers your looking for there.

if you

Please don't buy the crap that is in the link that Sam just posted. If you want a quality paint on tan buy it from Rinehart or Rittel.
