Do you have to degrease a striped bass?

I have found the heads to be greasy especially on the larger fish. So I do degrease them. I would use an artificial head personally but alot of guys might not. But definately degrease.

...can't hurt to degrease ALL fish. If it's a smaller Striper you can get by with the real head. But I too would recommend an artificial head for anything larger than (say) 10-12 pounds...
Yes and you have to skin them as well. Stripers, especially big and or salt water versions are very greasy.

Yes it does need it, you can use some of our Super Solve Degreaser by Knoblochs, 2 oz per gallon of warm water, then soak.
