washable sheep skins

I have shetland sheep skins that I would like to send out or tan myself into washable skins. Who can do them for me or how do I do them myself

Depending on where you are, they have facilities in Texas and Colorado. Ask for Tom Leggett. They do superb chrome tanning.

Lonestar Wool & Fur in Smithfield, NC offers a washable tan for your shetlands. I currently have about 40 of that breed of sheep in process. The shetland turns out a very nice tan. Check www.lonestarfurdressing.com on the web for information concerning prep and shipping.
