Don't worry about the blood!

Whether it's a Dall Sheep or Albino Whitetail - there are a lot of blood removing products on the market. We carry Blood-Eater (catalog# BE-639) which is excellent as both a relaxing agent and blood remover. Simply use it 1 fl. oz. to each one gallon of water. If it's a salt dried cape - usually a 8-10 hour soak is sufficient.

However - don't freak out when the solution turns blood red during the soak! It's simply doing its job by removing and encapsulating the blood proteins and putting them into the solution. When you rinse the cape - you'll rinse away the blood too! We've had excellent feedback on this product!
