I use McKenzie tan and usually follow directions completely. My ? is,does a bobcat need to stay in pickle for 3 days or do you guys/gals think 2 would be enough? I was planning on mounting Monday evening if at all possible. Also should I return it to pickle after fleshing,or neutralize and apply tan? If to risky I'll just follow directions. Thanks for all the help in the past! I,m not a beginner been mounting about 10 years but learning something new every day, just learned about this site a couple weeks ago.

This is my first time to tan anything(Bobcat). I talked to a McKenize taxidermist today and he said to flesh, put back in the pickle, neutralize for only 10 min,put tan on a leave it overnight and tumble next morning and mount. I dont know about a 2 day tan maybe someone else can help you there. Jeff
