My nephew killed a ram and we were going to tan the genital sac but unsure how to proceed. I've been told that this, being smaller than a cape, could be done differently. I've also been told to rub it with borax salt and just leave it alone for several days thus drying it stiff into whatever desired form. I don't know if any of this is true or correct.

DP will only harden it and make it brittle. Tan it.
Many tanneries will tan the scrotum for you for as little as $13-15. Send it out.
Any known/suggested tanneries in that price range?
