I have a wolf hide that was tanned by a Alpha tannery in Alaska - who sucks by the way - unforunately for me I did not know this till I got my hides back.
At any rate this hide is NOT stretchy at all - I mean it is like trying to stretch a piece of denim....not good.
Has anyone here dealt w/ this problem from Alpha tans, if so how did you resolve the problem. Will hide relaxer work on the leather - or am I just SOL?.....
I hate that Fing tannery!

You can use 2 to 3 oz of Relax R for every 5 gallons of water, and 1/4 lb of salt to ea gal, this will help get some stretch back. The Relax R will get into the skin and help you to loosen it up.
