Simple green is this a good de-greaser has anyone good-or-bad to say

Simple Green IS a great degreaser but it has a high pH that can cause hair/feather losses if you leave it exposed to them for too long. Also, dilute it so the concentrations aren't so intense, but I always use the 20 minute rule. I put a hide in, and 20 minutes later it comes out and gets rinsed with lots of clean clear water. Try to remove any soap residue.
