does anyone know what the average cost is to get a mature cow bison(buffalo) hide dry tanned. tannery cost only. been using advantage fur dressing for deer and small animals, but i need to know what to charge this guy for fleshing, shipping etc. i know they charge buy the square foot but how many feet is usaually in one and what would be the total cost. thanks

Lay it out flat and measure length times width, charge good for your shop time what ever it took you to get it clean which everyones different but min 100 to 150 just for prep. Then call a good tannery and double check with them according to your measurements.
on hides like your talking about i take the tannerys per square foot price and double it plus shipping.I estimate square footage on tne front end ,buffalo are 30 to 40 square feet. charge for exact square footage after hide comes back from tannery
