Tanned cape in frig over night,.....OK?

I am planning on mounting a tanned cape tomarrow. I thawed it out today to check a few things. I was just wondering if it would be ok to leave it in the frig over night? I have had this cape pulled out of the freezer atleast 3 times working on it. Trying to shave it on the machine and get it thinned down and pull the cartlige out of the ears.

One more thing it is kinda starting to dry out a bit can I soak it up in a salt brine? I am pretty sure this cape was tanned using liqua tan. How would I go about this.

I prefer to just lay it flat in the freezer. It doesn't take long to thaw if it is tanned, and if something comes up you won't have to worry about it.

i lay 'em out on work table ...
