A question for Ozark Woods!

I am new to this so I hope I do not make a fool of myself here. If I tan a coyote hide using Krowtan but want to use it as a rug or throw, can I throw it in a tumbler and let the cob grit work it over to make is soft and pliable as it dries. Or do I have the wrong idea. Thanks

You'll need to oil it first

Krowtann by itself is for mounting on a form . If you want to make a rug or wall hanger you will need additional oiling along with streching and breaking of the hide as the oil soaks into the hide . Just give us a call 1-800-467-0369.
