what do you do after you pickle the hide to you have to work the hide or what?

You really need to do more research.
I learned this a while back, that little orange search button on the left side of your screen can be your best friend. After you pickle you have to neutralize it then shave it, (not literally), Thicker hides need to be shaved down (moose, cape buffalo, etc...) Thinner hides (bocat, fox, etc...) Need just be fleshed of all membrane. Hope this helps.
