Retanning Coyote

I have a coyote that i tanned with the McKenzie brush on tan, my question is can i retan this coyote,and if i so do i need to got threw the whole process of doing it.Any help would be great. Thanks Curt.

Yes, you can retan it. I just did it a few weeks ago because I had a raw fleshy spot. I did, and would flesh a little more and I put it back into my pickle. Because fleshing exposes a new surface in the hide. And the pickle was still available. I retanned with the same brush on tan and it came out just fine. Good luck

Rewet the skin - then pickle, neutralize, and tan. Then oil. For soft tanned trophy skins - try our EZ-2000 Kit. You'll like the results!
