Deer leg question

Submitted by Shawn on 2/26/06 at 8:23 PM. ( Administration@AnimalTrainers.com ) 207.35.212.13

Hello again to all.

I have a few left over deer legs and would like to make a "Footstool" from them.

I know a little about tanning, but nothing about Taxidermy.

Would someone explain how I might preserve these so the hair and toes stay on the leg bone as one.

Thanks to all.

Shawn

The first thing i would sugjest is, bye yourself a beginer's vidio on basic taxidermy projects from any of the supply houses.(one that includes deer hoof gun racks/ lamps. ) You can also get forms/ kits for these projects. If you want to use the original leg bones, It gets a little more involved. If you e-mail me i can send you detailed instructions on how to do it.Or call me @603-835-6285 Best wishes, Ed Babneau Mountain Ed's Taxidermy And Wildlife Art
