The one thing I can never see is freezing any life size mammal till I can work on it. I'm glad you have all that freezer space for mine only holds tanned hides or skinned birds.
The quicker you can get them skinned out, fleshed and salted the better you'll be in the long run.
Every tiem you take any thing out from the freezer to thaw it becomes susceptible to bacteial growth. I advice to use stop rot on it to help prevent this. It's a great product and works wonders.
This is just my advice for you'll see many do freeze them hole but I need space for tanned hides no the whole animal.
When they do come in frozen they get skinned within two days. I place them in my firdge to thaw out slowly and then get them skined out ASAP.
