quick krowtan question

for anyone with krowtan experience....(yes i did sift through some of the archives but am currently on a bit of a time crunch.....what do any of you with experience with krowtan do for the degreasing portion of your process IE: if tanning a bear hide for mount...i just used krowtan on a deer cape 2 weeks ago for the first time and as far as deer go im sold.....i did however salt the cape prior to tanning and i know i read numerous times in the archives that it is not necessary....any input on that would help me rest better as well...thanks a bunch

Degreasing

I don't get too many bears in La. thank goodness, but I do use Krowtann, and you should degrease with the

Too much coffee, sorry, was saying use the same stuff that you are used to using. And if you oil, use the Krowoil, works great on cats and deer for me.

Super Solvent

Just did a bear shoulder mount awhile back with Krowtan. I used super solvent in the degreasing stage and it worked great. Nice clean hide.
