Hello folks,
I went out to New Mexico this week and killed some Gray foxes. I skinned them, and put them on ice in a cooler for 3 days and kept them cold. I just got home and put them in the freezer. Do I need to salt them? How long can I keep them frozen without messing up the hides?

The skins will never totally freeze with salt on them,they should be fine in the freezer.I would try to get to them within the year so they don't get freezer burn in the nose or ears.
