Shelf life on chemicals

Anyone know the shelf life on Safety Acid and McKenzie Tan? I'm doing a couple of heads and have a gallon of safety acid and McKenzie tan on the shelf that's been there for a year. Can I still use it? I checked the labels and there's nothing on it.

Make sure you shake up the McKenzie tan before using should be fine.Call McKenzie if you have any doubts.

I just asked this question to McKenzie a few days ago. They told me that as long as you shake the McKenzie tan before you use it it will be fine and that is the same for the safety acid.
