How many beaver hides can you put in a 6' tumbler say 4' long. We are new to this and was think of bulding one. They told us to use around 90 pounds of sawdust in it but I didnt know how many hides you could do at once.. thanks for the help.

There is no absolute answer, you can pack to many hides in and get little or no results. You may need even more sawdust to break the hides as they fall. Are they wet? Are they dry? There is no set formula or recipe to the number that will fit in a tumbler. Therefore, the answer is as many as it will hold without exhausting the effects of the sawdust.
