Recived a cape from a costomer that is already tanned by a tannery, wet tanned.I've allways done my own tanning for the most part use liqua tan so heres my question this cape has the cartlage left in the ears and does not seem as "wet"as when useing liqua tan can I peel the ears without ripping the skin and how do I get the wetness back in the cape to get more streach. Thanks James

Re-wet the ears!
The cartilage will always be dryer than the cape, stick the ears in some water with a handful of salt for a half hour; then drain excess water bag and sweat the cape in the refer.
Should be fine then, if you try to pull that cartilage when they are to dry you'll destroy the ears!
