I am wanting to learn to self tan skins, (coon, possum, deer ect.) Can anyone offer some good "recipies" and how to type stuff for me? I have head of pickling, and salting the hide, but don't really know what it does or means. any help would be appriciated!

you're asking for someone to type for you. Just kidding. There is so much information that I could type all night, and never get all the way through. The best advise I can give is to go to the magic search button to the left <- <- and type in what to want to learn. Some of the chemicals that are used are pretty dangerous. There are possibly hundreds of ways to tan hides, so I hope that you can understand why I can't really answer your question.
