I recently recieved a replacement cape that is dry tanned for one that was green and spoiled. The measurements for the green cape were 8.25 by 25 tight behind the ears. The dry tanned cape is 6 by 14/15 behind the ears. My experience is very limited with dry tan and can not imagine getting 10" of stretch after rehydrating this cape. If you are very experienced in dealing with this type tan please let me know what you would expect from this cape. Thank you, Jim

Even using Bill Yox's method of paitning sodium bicarb on the flesh side, that caoe is from a 21 inch deer at best.
Complain and ask them either to replace the cape with a bigger cape, or are they willing to accept the risk of painting a mild Sodium bicarb solution on the flesh side to see if it will let out?
